Sunlight and Moonlight…

Alan Morgan February 12th, 2006

For those that have read Sunlight and Moonlight, I’m thinking of working on another story following Owein’s brush with Rhiannon.

What would you be interested in seeing? No promises, but if I like what you propose, I may run with it. :)

Yes, ever so helpful indeed :P

I'm thinking of something between Owein and Arawn, but I'd like it to be more than just that.

I suppose at some point I need to make a list of who's still alive and who's in which Court.

    *nods*

Also what the set conflicts, etc, are…

Where would Owein go and do after his encounter with Rhiannon? He reincarnates, but… what's his purpose? What are his goals and motivations? What does he want?

Alternatively, who out there has it in for him? :P

Definitely. There's the obvious Bright vs. Dark court conflict that never ends… that's standard for the Sidhe.

That's a good set of questions, which tie into (needing to determine) the existing conflicts. I'm thinking that Owein is Arawn's right-hand man, as it were, which makes him quite important. Now, I need to decide if there's the standard Maeve/Oberon leadership of the Courts, or not. (Queen Maeve/Mab/Titania and King Oberon broke the Sidhe Court into the Dark and Bright Courts respectively.)

If I don't, then Arawn is probably either King or Consort of the Dark Court.

If I do go with Maeve/Oberon, then I'm left with questioning what role Arawn plays in the Dark Court.

    Right.

The other question would be… are you going to stick with traditional breakdowns? Cause there's a lot of different ways you can go with the whole thing…
